Esperanza Health Center Seeking OB/GYN

The following announcement comes from Dr. Bryan Hollinger, Medical Director at Esperanza Health Center –

Title:  Philadelphia Christian Health Center seeks OB/GYN to help kick off OB/GYN services!

Esperanza Health Center is a community health center serving the low income community of North Philadelphia.  Esperanza currently provides primary care for all ages, dental care, counseling, social work, nutrition and community outreach activities, all in the name of Jesus and for His glory.

We are currently in the process of substantial health center expansion, and would like to begin OB/GYN services to help meet a great need in our community.  Plans include to begin outpatient OB/prenatal program with the assistance of an experienced women’s health physician assistant and several family medicine doctors.  Depending on the interest of the OB/GYN, the plan would also be to do deliveries, via a local community OB call group at a local university hospital.  Employment at Esperanza could initially be full or part-time.

Spanish proficiency is desired, or a willingness to devote time to immersion language training prior to employment.  Details of salary structure have not been determined, but will be commensurate with our mission focus.  Clinicians with loans have regularly participated loan repayment programs.
